Um, excuse me, the tunnels were discovered by Leonardo DiVinci. We just took this long to confirm his findings.
Beneath Sforza Castle in Milan, researchers have discovered a series of secret tunnels—passageways once sketched by the Renaissance artist and scientist Leonardo da Vinci and traversed by a widower sick with grief.
The tunnels were discovered by experts from the Polytechnic University of Milan, who used ground-penetrating radar and laser scanners to map the 15th-century stronghold’s subterranean structures. The imaging revealed cavities and passageways positioned just a foot or two below the ground.
I am a simple man. I see GPR; I upvote.
You’re a penetration enthusiast?
Haha, yep. In grad school my wingman would introduce me at the student pub like this:
Wingman: “This is my buddy Troy. He studies penetration.”
“Oh really? How deep do you penetrate?”
Me, as straightfaced as possible: “Depends on the frequency, but usually a few metres.”
Didn’t work as well as offering to show them my six inch telescope (and then taking them moongazing), but still hilarious.
Haha!
