Yep, we’re truly getting the worst of both worlds: we’re going to be seeing the same pro-NATO fanaticism and escalation towards war with Russia as before (though hopefully with much less ability to actually go through with it if the US administration pulls the rug from under Europe on the Ukraine conflict), thanks to the warmongering Greens who are the most likely coalition partner for the CDU to choose, and of course the same kowtowing to Zionism and aggressive persecution and suppression of pro-Palestinian voices, while at the same time also adopting the AfD’s xenophobia and racism as official policy (only acting more politely about it, thus serving to normalize and institutionalize it) and last but not least ditching even the mildest of social democratic welfare policies that the SPD still somewhat pretended to care about and instead going full neoliberal. Living in Germany right now feels bad man…
