Hexbear is a different website. The Hexbear website broke down because of technical issues that will take some time to resolve. In the meanwhile Hexbear users are hanging out on Lemmygrad.

Hexbear.net was the recognized domain name of chapo.chat, after chapo.chat was retired, but someone didn’t pay for domain and so the link " hexbear.net " links to an auction site for the domain name itself.

Hexbear.net was an r/chapotraphouse offshoot site, after the subreddit community was banned, so it has dirtbag leftist politics (think vulgar and mocking of libs and cons) that later became more anti imperialist, knowing the concept of critical support, like Lemmygrad.

Such anti imperialist foreign policy stances got them labeled tankie by the liberal lemmyverse (lol) 😂, along with lemmy.ml and lemmygrad.ml .
