I really have a love-hate relationship with BI/Insider. They make docs on a lot of interesting topics that I want to learn about and see but they almost always have a bad take on the topic and push US State Dept and military propaganda constantly.
There aren’t many other places I can watch a video showcasing how a food product is made by an industrial giant vs an artisanal, small-batch company, vs someone working out of their backyard these days.
The dearth of media on stuff like this from the communist parts in the anglo-internet is definitely a weakness yeah. Same with how interesting military-history/science texts requires enduring the right-wing commentary to get to the interesting parts.
