      Yes, the USSR was illegally dissolved and this was done against the wishes of their citizens that voted years prior against it.

        The Soviet Union was union of states. For its dissolution to be illegal, it had to break a law - which law was it?

        The citizens of many of the unionized states where very much in favour of separation, and still are to this day. Are you really trying to say that nations were kicked out of the union against their will?

          Illegal by it’s own law and processes. Can you not read?

          The vast majority of citizens of the USSR and Soviet-aligned states favored keeping the country together/remaining part of it, aside from maybe Ukraine and 2 other polities.

          You don’t get to override 70 percent of the USSR’s will and call it democracy.
