chad made in china 2025 vs virgin project 2025
“End no fault divorce” - I can see arsen and rat poison demand raising sharply in the US.
The more china develops, the more it speaks for itself. The younger generations were already courted over to a more reasonable view of china through that whole tiktok/rednote event. Imagine the generations after that, growing up seeing what china has, and they don’t? Feels like the gap is only going to get wider.
I find it refreshing to see a country that has serious, realistic and possibly pessimistic projections. They’re only expecting to surpass the competition on LNG carriers and be able to compete on aircraft in the coming 6 years, among a bunch of industries. Westerners usually predict they’ll cure cancer by 2030 (year of I won’t be in office anyway, slowly becoming 2035) and cure death by 2050. (year of my voters will be dead by then)
Mainstream press acts like China is some shady dubious entity meanwhile it is just a loop of:
- draft an explicitly laid out five year plan
- meet the goals set in said plan
