Covid reinforced for me that people won’t do collectively good things for intangible social benefit. Strikes are for personal gain, so are more likely to work. Sure, profits are what you want to hit but without workers the profits start to take a hit. What is required is ensuring people don’t break the pocket line and allowing pocket lines and protests. A lot of effort has been put into laws that neuter strike effectiveness.
