During COVID, I was bullied by my bosses and severely depressed. I gave my 2 weeks notice and, as part of transferring the knowledge, I drank a few strong beers and made a Zoom presentation in front of 50 people about some obscure assembly language stuff that no one cared about because it was too weird yet essential for the company. After one hour of being perfect, I answered some questions and I went back to sleep.

Try to be a good father if you can. I don’t know how hard it is as I don’t have kids, but it’s the whole point of that day I guess. If I had kids, I would try my best to empower them without controlling them.

Rant: It took me 40 years to accept the fact that my father was (and still is) a selfish asshole that doesn’t care about his family. For example, he’d rather get technical advice from a salesman in a sketchy computer shop than asking me, a software engineer, for advice.
