I have an Asus router in my basement, which is mesh capable. The best way to do that is to get another identical router as a node, which I’ve done. I have not tried doing this, but being a router it has ethernet ports. I would think they would do what you’re hoping.

All this is well and good, but I have an idea, with nowhere to go with it.

Anyone know where I can go and what data I can gather if I have a NAS and several terabytes of space that I’m doing nothing with?

Is there a project out there maybe torrenting or something scientific data so that it’s everywhere? I’ve been trying to search and I am at the point that I’m not sure I’m searching for the right thing…
