Why so many people work for lunatics you ask? I suppose they got to eat something at the end of the day. That’s 60% of American people for example.

With all the touch screens and computer controlled door handles I wouldn‘t bet on a Tesla in this showdown.
Yup. Just saw an interview of an oligarch who invested early in Gasprom and didn‘t make a dime. How? Because all profits went directly to one of Putin‘s bank accounts. I think that‘s what’s what the USA will go through too. Record profits but everyone but the very very top loses big time.
It‘s a bad bet because he is so insanely rich and powerful. Just take a look at Putin‘s Gasprom. Oligarchs know how to extract money out of a company before lesser oligarchs can get their hands on it. Avoid any stocks that are too close to the government right now.
AI won‘t be our downfall but technological illiteracy might.
I don‘t know about that. That Oculus founder seems worse than Suckerberg somehow.
However I still think that somehow Facebook‘s dominance bottlenecks the VR industry right now. Their little data extractors are ironically too cheap for a healthy and vibrant VR economy, keeping competition and ideas out that the industry needs so desperately.
Good. Let them drown with their sinking ship. They enabled his power grab in the first place and decided something as perverted and absurd as granting a single man $60 billion. Let this be a lesson in history books.
And the tragedy of the whole situation is that they can‘t win because if every worker is replaced by an algorithm or a robot then who‘s going to buy your products? Nobody has money because nobody has a job. And so the economy will shift to producing war machines that fight each other for territory to build more war machine factories until you can’t expand anymore for one reason or another. Then the entire system will collapse like the Roman Empire and we start from scratch.
Loved those games and the sets even though the latter came with a few huge pieces and empty spaces. That certainly didn’t sit well with everyone.
So in short you disagree which is reasonable given the circumstances.
Besides, wouldn‘t it make much more sense to verify and mark genuine content rather than the slob which is becoming the majority of content?
It makes more sense to mark authentic content but sure.
AI might not be doing what Apple wants it to do but it’s certainly doing what it’s designed to do. Trash in trash out.
Show someone footage of 9/11 and they‘ll think of 2001. Show someone footage of a burning or crashing Tesla 20 years from now and they‘ll think of 2025.
Journalists? Probably just to see how it will go wrong and report about it so we don‘t have to.
Wasn‘t he let go from Facebook partially for his political views like being a fierce Trump supporter, though? That was years before Suckerberg turned full fascist oligarch himself mind you.
Why make a Wiki when a shitty Discord server with a clunky search function is easier to set up? Of course it‘s also much less useful, more work to maintain in the long run and a never ending source of drama, but most devs don‘t think that far because they kinda only do it to build a community anyway. Being a source of information is just slapped on but enough reason for them to not set up a wiki or proper forum it seems. Ugh.
I’d imagine that would be a win-win. For China and Russia.
Oh look it’s broken o’clock.
Sure. Deregulate Copyright Law as a whole. I dare you Orange Meatloaf Matryoshka. I double dare you.
You’re saying something. I’ve heard first hand stories about angry wallet owners “shooting the messanger” so to speak. I’m from Germany but the saying “No good deed goes unpunished” rings true in most parts of the world, I think. That’s why you throw a lost wallet into the next letter box and don’t bother any further. At least that’s what you’re supposed to do where I’m from and I doubt any of those wallets ever arrived with their full content but that’s not my problem.
