5 days agoReddit didn’t used to be that way. Slowly over time it devolved into the same self-flagellation that happens more on “share my thought” type platforms like Twitter. I hope we are better able to manage our federations to keep that type of content at bay while remaining open enough to let people speak their truth in the face of oppression.
The idea that we ought to be using time away from work/school to pursue productive activities (especially those that make us more productive at work) is pure capitalist toxic bullshit. Spending days working intensely to only afford the basics of life is the true travesty.
