So you would be fine with trying out a game, only to find an undisclosed AI had mangled your native language, and that there were UI issues caused by untested localisation code?

I would disagree. IMO there is even less benefit in building a community of trust, talking about not using AI with that community, then the moment the launch crunch happens go all in on AI and lie about it.
Nope, from what I remember chest breathing is mostly a social adaptation - our instinct as babies/young children is to stomach breath, but we stop doing so over time as our lung capacity can handle it/we observe adults doing so.

That quarter of people that actually voted* which is closer to 1/12 of the population (someone else mentioned a 33% turnout of voters).
Don’t make that dumbass ‘movement’ seem bigger than it was.

They do their best to get rid of any structured file management.
You can’t even access anything but the user documents folder in default Finder anymore.
Its worse on iphones, I was trying to manage a previous staff members iphone recently, and what the phones file browser, windows, and Linux could see were all different, and the phone file browser couldn’t actually access some of the folders Linux could.

Did you read the next sentence, where they did neither, and are now just lying about their AI use, and seem to have doubled down on it?

A lot of devs are already lying about AI usage, because the AI disclosure kills engagement even without a filter.
A random example is Soul’s Remnant, cute little indie MMO - right before launch they added several major features, and 20+ languages. When questioned about it, they admitted on their discord to using AI translations… And said they would take down the translations rather than use AI disclosures.
Within 3 weeks they had 10 updates with mile-long patch notes as a team of 2, and they never took put the AI translations or added a disclosure.

And MPC is Windows?
As a follow up to this, use your stomach muscles to inhale, not your chest. Can get a much deeper breath that way.

Now that is the arch of the self hosted streaming community.
Yeah, that tracks, buts its hard to stay mad at the thieving bastards lol

It also uses a heavy amount of AI assistance, which means its likely not very secure to run anyways.

I am a bit shorter, with a longer torso than you. A 2026 tundra gives me 1-2" of headroom with the seat fully lowered. A 2014 tundra my head touches. A 2012 sequoia, my head is literally tilted and touching the sunroof cavity.

Now can they design their vehicles to allow headroom for people above 5’9? I am always scared I am about to brain myself on every bump when I have to drive in one.

Your hybrid gets 660km with a full tank and full charge. I was discussing specifically the charged range, not fuel. I am complaining that there aren’t any reasonable options currently available in Canada for me to reduce my fuel usage, and I am looking forward to there being better options soon.
My commute isn’t by choice, the travel costs are just significantly lower than the cost to move somewhere better, and my household income can’t really support dropping everything and just going somewhere else.

While I get your point, these drives are either on my days off, or I use a paid leave to do the trip, so either way it doesn’t affect my paycheque

Whereas for me, the rental would kill the savings and thus the point.

Closer to 8, once you factor in the in-town driving, yes.
Living in Northern BC sucks, that round trip every 2-6 months saves me a stupid amount of money on groceries and essentials, even factoring in fuel/charging, though a hotel would eat into those savings pretty bad.

40km is the average actual charge on available PHEV’s (including my Escape, which Ford has discontinued), because the NA market thinks PHEV’s are a joke. Also would like to note I lost (according to Ford) ~18% of my range recently due to them using shit parts in their batteries.
The MHERO II coming in at some point has an electric range of 150km, which, for me, is actually useful.
There are no cars in NA that have a real-life range of 650km, at least under $100k. I know Tesla claims the Model 3 can, but I have strong doubts that’s true, especially in the winter (plus I would never touch a Musk product). China has a few lines with ~700km range, that are cold-weather tested, though not sure if any of those are hitting the Canadian market at a reasonable price.
Air horns are for black bears.
Don’t really help much for grizzly’s, those need 2 cans of bear spray to be safe.
