Just a maths workbook I guess. This was just forced on me as a student so I’m not really aware if the alternatives.
The Pearson website for assignments and exercises is definitely in by bottom-ten user experiences on the internet. And it’s even a paid tool! Fuck pearson
Thanks for taking the time to explain this. Quality replies are much appreciated! I think that narrative, as you put it, is generally a good thing as it helps us to remember information and make sense of the world. I work in research so I didn’t think twice about the distinction between the and a scientists. Not so sure that scientism is in my top 10 problems list, but it it is still good to be aware of such biases.
Skype is still out there! The Dutch MoD host their own Skype servers.
Thanks for making me aware of scientism. I am a little unsure how it applies here through.
I know. I was just remarking on the use of words. Thanks for the explanation?
I love that you call it raster graphics, makes it sound much more archaic somehow.
Geen probleem 😉
This is a pretty holistic article on all the “badness” in english https://delta.tudelft.nl/en/article/victims-of-social-unsafety-always-draw-the-short-straw-at-tu-delft-an-official-report-that-would-be-the-end-of-me
Edit: Just generally read a bit on delta if you want to know more. It’s the Uni press. They even got censored by the university when they first reported some of this if I recall correctly.
Do we need it?
Yeah… Not that surprising to me. TU Delft hasn’t been doing so hot. They literally have it all. Corruption, harassment, nepotism. But if you are not a PhD student you shouldn’t be too affected by any of these.
It’s cool, but I never had the chance to get into it. Conventional CAD tools are pretty convenient as well especially if you already know how to use them. What would be a good starter model to try this on?
This. Especially in the humanities, the essay is the preferred form of assessment. I don’t have a birds eye view of all colleges, but I know that some of those courses should not have had essay exams. It’s as if teachers forget that other forms of examination exist.
