I don’t know of any movies where Hollywood prioritized local actors unknown to the broader public over known actors with fake accents. The scenario you offer as an alternative simply doesn’t exist imo. We are talking about an industry that casted Scarjo as a Japanese girl.

ICAC Task Force recently opened an investigation into 18 CSAM files being shared online. Further investigation revealed that the sharer was actually offering 134 CSAM videos, and police claim they were able to trace those files to the account of local resident and well-known cartoonist Darrin Bell.

Its a messy subject but any kind of sharing/selling quickly evaporates any reservation I have on prosecuting. It’s still child porn and, even without any “real” victims, trying to build a community around it is gross.

Seems like they fine tuned the voices to sound more authentic. Hungarian is a hard accent to do from what I understand and it’s not possible to fine tune voices without ai. They also used gen ai on one scene.

Well Yerbatim kind of comes off as a dick reading the rest of the linked conversation. He also seems to be known to the hexbear community in general judging from an other comment coming from a hexbear user. cowbell might be responding to this more than anything else and he got banned for it. .world doesn’t federate with hexbear. My first experience with them was when they abused the emoji exploit so I’m kind of fine with it. I don’t know all the drama nor the actors involved but it doesn’t seem like everyone is being critical enough. I don’t think the glorification or the ban are entirely justified.

You should have just said you didn’t care about the details. It’s Christmas and you are being a dick. “I give up” and the rant just makes it seem like pure snark. You should learn to communicate without being mean about it.
