You’re missing the entire point. You go murder people if that’s what you want. You’re no different.
Keep it light, keep it moving.
I am doing no harm.
You’re missing the entire point. You go murder people if that’s what you want. You’re no different.
You’re the one taking the L right now, why don’t you take your own advice instead?
Confront them first, make them feel uncomfortable. Make fun of them, make them feel ashamed first. We don’t need to get violent from the get-go to be effective. We gotta get creative.
Get out your pool noodles & whack 'em on sight. Amplify their message with satire. Make a buffoonery out of them until they learn.
Oh and therapy.
Let’s start there.
The left hasn’t unilaterally claimed universal tolerance. Some people do, though, but they can go do themselves. The rest of us have no room for the wicked.
I was in a similar situation once and I sincerely appreciate your sympathy. The hostility is not worth it and I wish everyone crossing the border would have that vividly in mind going in. It’s easy to prioritize higher wages and a slightly more stable future for your children with complete disregard of your treatment. To a kid, that leaves a big mark. I have mine.
Don’t worry too much over it. Many of us understand it’s only your president deciding on your behalf. Bridges can be rebuilt when you get a decent person in office. We depend too much on each other to let one single man with a stupid agenda break us apart. Funnily enough, it seems Trump is uniting everyone below the border. I don’t think he projected that far into the consequences.
And Obama, and would’ve happened under Harris. Democrats are not pro-immigration and I don’t think they’ve ever been in my working memory. I had family deported under Obama and the treatment was awfully degrading on so many levels. And yet this level of anti-immigration coming from Trumplethinskin is somehow worse. Fuck the dude.
Those graphics are sick! :D
Or is being transpiled and doesn’t have a source map. 🥲
I don’t see any Janes claiming xantophobia. What’s the percentage of xantophobes in the world, even? Do you see any large images of solid yellow around? Because you have one ophidiophobe here already speaking up with a phobia sitting at 10% prevalence. Actually, I know a handful of ophidiophobes and you might too. How many secret xantophobes do you think you know? It’s probably zero. How about arachnophobes? At least one, I bet, and they probably fly out of the room at the sight of one.
So I ask again, why does it have to be all or nothing? Ask anyone what the three top animal phobias are and I guarantee snakes is one of them every single time. If someone asks nicely, it takes three actions to fix an image that spans the entire screen. I really hope I’m being clear that the problem is the large images.
You say you don’t mean to demean but you’re not making a good case for it by jumping to extremes and diluting what I’m saying.
Coming from a Texan, no less.
Why is it all-or-nothing? If it was a partial image I’d understand but the image blatantly spans the entire screen on both mobile and web. this is far from every other common phobia depicted as an image and quite a common one at that.
Please, please use a spoiler tag or cw for close-up pictures of snakes. A lot of people suffer from ophidiophobia and this is a big jump scare. Thank you for understanding!
E: That includes me. I had to cover up the post to reply–it’s that bad. I’m neither mentally prepared or wealthy enough to go to therapy. Not sure why the downvotes for advocating for some sympathy.
Cannibalistic, even, by some scholarly definitions of consumption.
Ah, no worries. Funnily enough I did the same but on the East side and then saw your comment. Lmao
You’re welcome! Sorry, I had to edit for clarity. Hopefully it’s better explained now and less wordy.

That’s the link. Everything after the ‘?’ is information encoded in key=value pairs separated by an ampersand (&). It’s harmless on its own and it’s useful for rendering pages. But big corpos now attach extra info about your browsing session for analytics and advertisements and who knows what else. TikTok, Facebook and Amazon are the most notorious for abusing this. In FB, for example, they use an “fbid=” parameter associated with your account and YouTube uses “si=” so they can track who gets the link from whom.
As a rule of thumb, if the link is obnoxiously long, it’s tracking something.
Don’t give them any ideas or I’ll hold you personally responsible. >:|
