I shared their frustration myself, but I realized stopping Trump was more important in the long run. Too bad not enough others did - he hardly won any states by more than 200k.

Sofa King has Gerbers on sale this week, half off! They had to cut them in half to get them into the store.
Professional mover, mathematician, or performance artist?
Would anybody like some toast?
That’s a bizarre glitch I never would have known to look for - thanks!
Pasting this right into my project doc. Thanks so much!
Thank you, that’s massively helpful! Pasting your comment into my ESP32 project notes so when I soon move to Linux I can remember to figure out the udev rule and jtags.
I… I… oops, sorry.
Can anybody comment on their experience using Arduino and ESP with Linux? Especially does Linux handle COM ports better than Windows? There’s a seemingly immortal problem of COM ports becoming unusable until you go into Device Manager and uninstall them (again and again) - and if that doesn’t work, reboot Windows. I experience this less often now than say 5 or 6 years ago, and sometimes it’s my fault, but jeez.
thank you
edit: actually the main page is pretty much dead links R us.
As usual we’ve found an engaging distraction to play whack-a-mole with for a while. When we get bored with bashing Elon Musk we’ll find another one, never addressing the core problem of how to take down the oligarchy. Because that will take methodical work and a huge amount of diligent research and objective thinking - assuming anybody ever gets around to doing it at all. Most of us just entertain ourselves with angry memes, created by the few people with enough motivation to do even that much. This is why aristocracy systems can keep perpetuating themselves - they rely on human inertia - most people prioritize entertainment over doing anything substantial. Bottom line, that’s the real reason things are the way they are.
Basically an 80s punk dog.
Feel free to express (and explain) your opinion that some people are unrepresented, but why are you okay with pretending that’s my opinion and asking me to defend it? Millions of people who voted for Biden in 2020 refused to vote at all in 2024 because the Democratic Party hadn’t given them a candidate they liked. More than enough to defeat Trump, but that wasn’t important enough for them to step off their moral high ground, and now here we are.
<sigh> Four more years of this shit. But oh well, it’s worth it if it spared a few people of superior moral integrity from compromising their principles to vote for Harris when she didn’t measure up to their requirements and the Democrats didn’t run a good enough campaign and besides it was kind of cold that day and it would have meant putting on pants.
There are a lot of people who don’t understand what they take in.
Sorry, that went way over my head. /s
Now that I think of it the whole 90s didn’t start getting political until around 1991.
I liked the image of the Titanic nosing down into the water, and deniers up on the stern end saying, “If we’re “sinking” how come we/re up so high?”
Because science, bitch!
Uh-oh, reddit also deleted a top comment for recommending Lemmy - are they Good or Evil? Binary thinker brains asplode!
The only one I’m aware of is in Michigan, where 3 Trump allies are now charged with tampering or planning to tamper with voting machines, and that case is moving forward.
