I think a lot of people have no idea where the Azov group came from before the war.

I wasnt talking about what benefits the country. The country is made up, by us. The earth is not. Less humans will benefit the earth, especially capitalist humans.
If the economy needs people, then americans apparently should get to making babies or increase immigration, neither of which are well supported things.
As for climate change killing us first, you’d maybe want to remember what caused climate change in the first place, and how many people contributed to that over the last few hundred years. Almost like more people = more pollution from industry and food production.
Well, unless you can convince people they dont need the conveniences in their lives anymore and that they should stop eating meat and dairy.
This point keeps coming up. We are destroying the earth due to overpopulation and overuse, why is it bad for the population to decline for a while. Its very normal for populations of animals in the wild to spike and wane, its not some catastrophe.
There are mouse and keyboard devices made for using from a couch too, they usually have some sort of track ball type thing for the mouse. Usually the tricky part is making it so you can even see your mouse on such a big screen.
What does that have to do with now in the age of extremely cheap, large, and fast storage.
It might still be best just to convert your desktop into a couch and tv device at that point. Or a steamdeck.
What would you consider to be mature emotions?
I just posted this elsewhere, and I’m sure you’ve already seen it but here’s the full video of the tank man:

Does not get run over, no violence.
How well did the protests about gaza go over then? You are hand waving away something we all lived through and saw. From unions to college campuses, protesting has never been a protected right. You can only protest as much as those in power allow you to in your area.
Even those not in power shit on protestors when it affects their lives. People start saying things like “thats not the way to protest” or “this isn’t the time or place, have some respect”.
Its bullshit, and we do not have the freedom to speak our minds, unless we already agree with what we are expected to.
Release the wolves! Its time!
20s’s me: “well how are wolf posters going to help you get ahead in life?”
40’s me: “I dont care if you have sex with a taxidermied wolf, everyone has hobbies its all good.”
But if I said, “it might snow tomorrow, but I’m going to work no matter what”, then you could safely say that I plan to drive in the snow if the situation arises.
In this case the situation did arise, johnny was just being cheeky, he absolutely knew it was a sin, but his pride wouldnt allow him to deny the challenge because he believed he was better and could prove it.
I dont see a difference in intent at all. Can you explain that? Theres not some loophole left in the word might, context matters.
Either way he’s saying it doesnt make a difference, if it was a sin or not he’d still do it.
They didnt say that. Do we still call these strawmen?
That means he’s acknowledging its a sin but he will do it anyways. You are thinking it says it might be a sin or might not, but thats not how the sentence goes.
Thats only because they write with emotion in mind, in my opinion. They are trying to evoke feelings and cause dissonance, not lay out an intellectual thesis on the subject.
Cat downloads human in this case.
I think its interesting that people in the west only realized the danger capitalism posed when it started affecting their weather, while the rest of the world has been filling graveyards for decades because of it.
Its almost like everyone knew the whole time.
Sort of. Theres maybe something to things that naturally exist, whether we name them or not. We didnt create beavers in the same way we did money.
