I think it also comes down to the reality there is no purpose or reasoning for our existence. And the more money and time you have to realize it, the more the mind needs to have the conclusion, but, there has to be more. So they strive to create a fanciful story to follow… otherwise, the veneer cracks. Personally, I find a sense of serenity in the idea, but I might be a rarity. Same here. I’ve done this a few times, the strangest was when punched a clown. A little backstory, the clown was on a Halloween, but it was a lot like the meme where the kid punched someone jumping out of a trash can. Except I screamed, I hate clowns.

All of these panels happened to me as a kid, which is likely why my dad stopped giving me any choices, my mom dressed me for church, she worked in my classrooms to “keep me in check”, and I got a cheese burger at every restaurant we went out to lol

This reminded me of the stroke in my teens, in coma dream I was told by what seemed to be a 4th dimensional person, I will survive but will die at the age of 42… or in ‘42 (2042). I can’t remember which, as I just suffered a massive stroke lol.

Now, I’m not one to believe in premonitions, but that coma dream has haunted me and I’m not even a spiritual person.
