Because logic and Trumpian Republicans mix even less well than oil and water. They also tend to have severe cases of “not invented here” syndrome. They’ll make a big deal about rolling “the incompetent piece of crap” back, change three words and the title, then claim how much better their version is.

Today also saw the publication of nine critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerabilities.
Man, I hope this doesn’t mean they’re trying to avoid looking bad by not publicizing severe issues. This is not an area where politics should prevail - it’ll only be far worse in the end.
There’s so much out there because there’s no one (or even just a few) right way(s) to proceed. Everyone is unique, and so there’s are just as many paths to enlightenment. Just take a stab at whichever intro looks good to you, and if it doesn’t work for you then move on to another - they’ll all contribute to your knowledge even if they don’t fully work for you.
Just because you’re afraid to die doesn’t mean others are. It’s their choice & none of your business. There is no abuse because there are plenty of safeguards in place preventing people from doing this willy-nilly. Go find something that’s a REAL problem to fearmonger about.
Yeah, it’s highly doubtful things will ever be what they actually should, but there still can be some significant improvements made. That kind of shit is most assuredly still going on behind this “in your face” stuff as well. We’ll probably never get rid of that, but the overt shit shouldn’t be that hard to get legislation done for - IF we ever manage to regain our sanity in this country.
