I know of no way to put a custom, fully FOSS operating system on the PS5, Xbox Series, or Switch. I can ask a friend who used to be into finding Switch exploits about the latter, but I seriously doubt it. As for the Steam Deck, sure, but that’s a handheld gaming PC, not really a console. If you want to play any of the litany of console exclusives (outside of using something like a Switch emulator, legally or otherwise), you’re stuck with a proprietary OS.
