A lot of my friends just won’t play “old” games. If the graphics don’t look somewhat modern, they physically cannot bring themselves to touch it. I showed my girlfriend system shock 2 and she audibly laughed at me wondering how I could stand it. Another friend refunded vampire the masquerade because he could not get over how old the game looks.
So yeah I think unfortunately they’re a necessary evil for people to get in touch with some of these older classics.
Incredibly so, so much that it kinda makes me doubt it. What causes foldable phones to be such a success in Asia? All my time in NA/EU and I’ve seen like 5 in the wild.
Literally me lol. I built a brand new Nvidia machine last year, tried a few distros and just had nonstop issues with games. Which became me googling reddit forums for fix actions and advice, which would just be try a new a distro or run these commands that breaks something else so another thing works. I love foss and what it represents, but I’m not a software guy nor do I have time to waste hours googling why kingdom come is playing at 5 fps on my 4080.
