I’m amazed when they are genuinely surprised every time Trump does this kind of thing. Are they really that delusional and think “I’m different. He won’t do it to me”. Then the leopard eats their face and they are amazed.

Back when I was still on Reddit I remember someone sharing a job posting calling for 10 years of experience in a 5 year old language. I don’t know if it was real or not but it’s typical of the crazy requirements for those jobs.
As an American I hope that Canada will stay strong and stand up to him. Someone needs to- there is no one in the US willing so do so except Bernie and he’s 84. Godspeed and good luck
I didn’t watch it. I just can’t listen to him speak for more than about 30 seconds. The gibberish and gish-gallops are just too much for me to handle. I usually try to find a transcript after the fact.
It’s been a while since I remember a truly innovative and exciting tech announcement. Web 3.0, Crypto, and now AI have all been kind of hype driven duds.
None of the ones in my circle have recognized it nor do I think they will. They’re going down and taking the rest of us with them.
It seems like Microsoft has recognized what a money pit OpenAI is and will continue to be. If OpenAI turns out to be a failure what happens to generative AI in general. Tech always needs a “next big thing” to grow and raise money. Mature technologies aren’t useful for this purpose. Maybe tech has peaked and we’re in a phase where we’ll get incremental improvements with no big breakthroughs.
This looks like the one I had in high school. It got crushed in my locker and when I wnet to college I saved up for an HP 12C. Still have it to this day.
That’s probably what happened. However the job description as written was kind of silly.
