By my definition, family is who you treat like family.

I remember the day that I applied to be a member of the ANTIFA organization. It was a gorgeous day, the sun warmed my back as I walked into their headquarters, documents in hand.

I met with the president, board members and committee. They gave me a uniform, took my picture, and printed an ID.

Then, I was invited into the private group chat, which everyone in ANTIFA is in.

But, times have changed.

Since then, they sold my data, and now I get fucking Dominos Pizza coupons all day. How am I meant to fight fascism with fucking pizza.

Not everyone is a cinephile, and some people like watching movies in the background.

I can’t stand this attitude personally, and when I sit down to watch a movie with someone, I get annoyed when they don’t pause for getting a drink, or do something on their phones.

If it was a movie like Deadpool, I can tolerate it, people can listen to the jokes, but put their phones down during action.

Then there are movies which would be a downright mistake to become distracted. This is one of those movies IMO.

Certainly my favourite Gosling film. It’s one of those movies with a lot of ambiance; if you watch it, don’t doomscroll at the same time.

The elevator scene is so beautiful.

I suppose it depends on your exposure to media. The first I heard of Concord was how much of a flop it was.

I played Warlords of Draenor, and prior expansions, and I don’t remember any controversy.

No Man’s Sky was a huge story, but coming from a studio who made Joe Danger, I don’t know that any expectations were justified, whereas The Witcher 3 was supposed to be proof that CDPR would stick the landing.

Gotta give CDPR credit, they’ve consistently patched the game after what is arguably the most disappointing launch in gaming history.

Most other devs would have seen the ROI and pulled the plug less than a year after launch.

Phantom Liberty was amazing, it seems like half of the content was in different endings alone.

The perk overhaul was amazing too, it really encourages a dynamic play style, as opposed to the prior perk system which essentially forced you to dump 20 points into Cold Blood, and choose one main attribute tree.

Though, the new system essentially forces 20 points into tech, which is fine because your cyberware is the basis for every build.

Though, every character should get Reflexes to 15 because air-dash changes the game into Spider-Punk.
