I’m sure they could be if anyone put any time into it But as of yet, yes, all sharks eat others. Maybe someday in the future we’ll figure out a way to end suffering in the wild.

I’ve been debating doing that more and more lately.

In our world, I don’t think anyone has tried to give a shark a vegan diet. They’re definitely all in the wild.

So, so far, they’re all carnivores. Yes. The Wild is a pretty fucked up place.

There’s no such thing as obligate carnivore. There’s no magic nutrients inside animals that can’t be synthesized using modern technology.

Most carnivores just need taurine, and maybe a few other enzymes. We mastered making those in the 90s once cats started getting sick from people feeding their cats only certain body parts of other animals.

I think the idea is in most of these worlds with anthropomorphized non-human animals is that they are all vegan except like murderers and psychopaths etc.

Paying for them to be endlessly birthed into existence just to be thrown into a blender is a bad thing. letting them grow up after they’re born would just be affording them the same basic rights that we give ourselves.

Stopping them being born would be the best thing.

What are you talking about? Yes, they feel pain. They are sentient, just like us, and don’t want to die. You think humans are some one-off special thing and are the only ones that can observe the universe and have experiences? Sorry to tell you, but our brains aren’t that different from others.
