Browsing those content types needs to be an enjoyable experience as well. Mastodon is best used for short text, Pixelfed is good for pictures, Lemmy is for forums/sometimes images and videos. Peertube is an actual video first platform.

Spreadsheets and PDFs could be shared over Mastodon, just like they could be over Xitter. But that doesn’t make it a PDF based platform, or a federated spreadsheet editor. Which seems to be the thing the OP is asking for. A type of media that should be the main focus of a (Fediverse) social media platform.

Many adhd symptoms are “normal human” behavior/traits, but in people with adhd they are more exaggerated than in neurotypical peeps. So while something like this might be slightly annoying for a typical person, for someone with adhd it is likely worse.
