Hey, I’m a late diagnosis and am about to be in month 3 since I figured out what is going with me.

I’m still in the weird relief and grief stage, and only now discovering how much my learned hopelessness was preventing me from aski g for what I needed.

I finally had the courage to ask my boss to let me stay remote for the rest of my time working there and he agreed. A few months ago I had already burned out pretty hard and spectacularly at work, so he was one of the first I told about my diagnosis.

I cried for nearly 20 minutes afterwards because I was so relieved. Turns out you can, in fact, just ask for stuff to make your life easier
