This is such an annoyance. As someone who regularly reads and watches media in several times different languages, the scourge of auto translate has only become worse. With the advent of more capable translation tools this will probably only get worse. I’ve already switched my OS language to English on all of my devices and found that it helped a little.
My daughter really loves Zucchini nuggets with a dip of Hummus. For the Zucchini nuggets, just use shredded Zucchini, panko, grated cheese (Mozzarella works well, but it’s really up to preference) and some herbs. Use an egg or two to bind everything together. Form into nuggets and bake in the oven until nice and crispy on the outside. Use any dip you fancy. We often use Hummus or chili sauce.
These are awesome! I really loved them when travelling in Portugal. I could eat them for almost any meal.
I don’t think I remember this trip specifically, but we travelled extensively in the area between 1991 and 1997. That’s my grandmother and my mother standing besides the car. I believe my father and I hiked up the hillside and took the picture from there.
Seitan is really great, if you’re able to get good Seitan. In my experience it’s best to go to the uncle and auntie shop where hardly a letter in Latin script is found.
While I agree with the sentiment, I fully endorse store bought for anyone who has kids and too little time as is.
Oh dear ! Must be those batteries spontaneously combusting. I remember when that used to happen to Samsung phones a while back.
And the US negotiation team will respond: “Yes sir, we agree that all of your terms need to be met. Now we can finally suspend all aid to those pesky Ukranians again and lift all sanctions, since Uncle Vladimir is totally in favour of peace!”
This will really be an interesting question for the so-called global south. Since most countries there are generally considered to politically align with China/Russia due to “anti imperialism”, it’s going to be interesting to see if they remain on the side of Russia although this is now the side of the US or whether they alternatively remain opposed to the US but find themselves on the same side as the Europeans.
Turns out the supply chain for such a complex machine is in itself very complex. Some components are manufactured by suppliers in various countries formerly believed to be allies. This includes stuff like the ejection seats and some electronics that are made in the UK, parts for the wing sets that are made in Italy or inserts for the weapon bays that are made in Canada. Additionally the Netherlands currently houses the supply hub for spare parts for the European countries. It is estimated that there are spare parts to keep hundreds of F-35s in the air for a while there. The most worrying aspect certainly remains the software support, without which all the precious hardware loses much of its utility, even if there isn’t a master kill switch.
Some of these really stretch the definition of what I’m comfortable with as “Pizza”
Om het met de woorden van een bekende Nederlander uit twitterland te zeggen: Wilt u meer of minder PVVers in de kamer? Ik heb eerlijk gezegd liever enkele tientallen minder.
