Are you from Texas? I’ve noticed Texans tend to have much stronger opinions on chili than most people. I thought it was pretty decent as a chili “sauce” on their hot dogs. I think they gave me a sample on the spaghetti also; conceptually it was weird to me to put chili on spaghetti but in practice it seemed more like a meat sauce. Not like a chili that’s like it’s meal (edit: chili con carne was the term I was looking for).
I’ve had chili chocolate ice cream and it’s good. This, however, is referring to Cincinnati chili sauce, which is basically a meat sauce for pasta.
