Give me Edge 60 Neo with graphene and I’d be happy. Small, good battery, good screen, ok-ish camera, nothing else needed.

This is so bizarre yet awesome. I love Morrowind.

I would say so. But I wonder what’s their overall endgame vision.

Yes, proton is basically “wine deluxe” as I understand it, so they might use it just as it. I just wondered whether they’ll use available solution or plan to use some modification of their own.
I guess we’ll see, hopefully, soon.

That’s what I’m interested in. Whether they intend to just use whatever is available (which is absolutely ok) or they’re going to ship their own solution fine tuned however they want and need it (which would be obviously fork of wine/proton).

I wonder how they’re gonna handle windows games. Whether they’ll use system’s version of wine or ship something of their own like Proton on Steam. Very curious.

Fuck no! I don’t care about GTA, but the hype is everywhere! Dammit!

None of them and I couldn’t care less. The good thing is all the GTA hype everywhere will finally be over, at least I hope it will.
Thank you. “Wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle” is mentioned very often and I don’t think it’s the gameplay I’m looking for.
NMS sound less and less my kind of game, even though the idea of it sounded almost perfect. I fear the gameplay would bore me like Mount & Blade. My friend loves the game and constantly praises it so I tried it too and… dislike it a lot. I lack the story and characters, some sense of progress there. Sure I can do whatever I want, but what’s the point? There will never be credits “Well done, you made it.” because the game has only the ending you made for yourself. My friend always wanted to conquer whole map, but I don’t see the point - what then?
OK, most people refer to the same problems with the game and I can see it’s probably not really a game for me.
Will wait until it gets for like $10 and then maybe give it a try. Or maybe Squadron 42 will be more for my taste once it finally releases in 2039… :-D
Thank you, appreciated your reply. I’ll wait until it’s dirt cheap and then try it, but not for current price.
OK, thank you, it more and more looks like the actual game is not for me even though the idea of such a game is.
OK, thank you. I’ll pass for now and will wait for really deep discount.
OK, this is basically what I feared. Back in the day when I played WoW it was fun to exp through the wilds and once I got to max level and people started their raids I completely lost interest. I don’t really car if I have +150 or +155 attribute staff or whatever. Repeating the same raid 20x to finally drop the crap? How is that fun?
I haven’t, but it’s also on my wishlist and it’s there for a long time. Thank you for bringing it up.
This sums up my fears. Thank you for letting it out.
I’d like to thank everyone that put their effort here to write a reply. I read everything, but can’t respond to everyone. I’ve decided I’ll save the money and keep working on my backlog which has already some apparently amazing games like Witcher 3 etc.
I discovered https://armada.buzz/ running on Nostr just yesterday. It looks like pretty damn good replacement for Discord/Slack. Anyone here using it?
