Where? Can you share that issue?
Phone news and discussions about android and its ecosystem are the only reason I’m here.
Rumours are also a part of that. But, unless you can quantify true and false rumours. They are a part of news. But, I get what you are saying. You can share news, reviews, new features, etc and upvote those when someone posts them in this community.
Voyager and Jerboa are a safe bet if you want compatibility and stable features. Bonus points for being Foss clients.
That’s a dumb reason. Why don’t we go for usb 1.1 so proles understand their place better?
USB 1.1 is not made anymore. USB 2.0 has always been the minimum standard. USB 3.1 is considered a premium feature. The last time I had to transfer data was a year ago when I was setting new phone. Even then it could’ve been done wirelessly. Its not a necessary feature like a good camera, battery so its always ignored.
Same with wireless charging. Although some manufacturers(Motorola) may include it in their midrange phones.
I know that usb type-c is a connector.
Sorry, I was surprised you asked this question. Manufacturers have been omitting USB 3.0 from midrange and sometimes even flagship smartphones since ages ago. This has always been the case. Surprised you didn’t notice this sooner.
usb 2
But why?
Because its a midrange smartphone. If you need USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 you need to buy a flagship smartphone.
Note: USB version 2 and 3 correspond to data transfer speeds. The USB is still type C if that was the reason for confusion.
A scummy move by Xiaomi. Even with google and SOC manufacturers making it easier to update devices. We have Manufacturers pulling this move.
In colorOS smartphones you have the old fullscreen google lens function which can be accessed from the Smart Sidebar.
Anysoftkeyboard had undo function last I knew.
Developers need to make money. If app development is not sustainable they will stop developing apps.
