I updated the community sidebar with a nice GIF by KAKTUZBOY. Tell me what you think!
I also created a new ‘Family Communities’ category for ‘Music’ with related communities on Lemmy. If you’re a mod of a music community and want to see it there, send me a PM.
The ‘Family Communities’ are now organized with ‘tabs’, so it’s easier to read and keeps the sidebar smaller.
After the update of lemmy.world to the latest Lemmy version, posts submitted by users in this instance now show as a ‘image’ instead of a link in Mastodon. If you’re interested in following the community on Mastodon: https://your-mastodon.instance/@albumartporn@lemmy.world or search for @albumartporn@lemmy.world
If you only want to see the album covers, follow the hashtag: #albumartporn (of course, this way, there’s a chance that content from outside the community may appear.)
Integration is still not perfect, but it’s a way of keeping up to date and ‘boost’ albums on there.
This is not nsfw per se, I just don’t want to “scare” anyone with a guy full of obviously fake blood, when scrolling on here
It has a vinyl edition, it has tracks, sounds interesting. Seems alright to me.
Interesting! Going to give it a listen!
Fun fact: This and the other film “Living Bad” are connected.
From Wikipedia: Bad Living (Portuguese: Mal Viver) is a 2023 Portuguese-French drama film directed by João Canijo. Starring Anabela Moreira and Rita Blanco, the film portrays story of a family of several women from different generations, whose relationships with each other have grown poisoned by bitterness. It was selected to compete for the Golden Bear at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere on 22 February 2023. It won the Silver Bear Jury Prize at the festival. In September 2023, it was selected as the Portuguese entry in the Best International Feature Film category for the 96th Academy Awards.
At the same time, the director has made another film, Living Bad, in which the main focus is on guests coming to the hotel. The two films were released as a diptych. In his statement the director said that for the screenplay about the hotel guests, he was inspired by motifs from plays by August Strindberg. Living Bad was selected at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival in Encounter. On December 7, it appeared in the eligible list for consideration for the 2024 Oscars, but, it didn’t make it to the shortlist.
The Criterion version has a public toilet as the cover.
Thank you for pointing out! I messaged the mods of the other communities in the board to ask and put their communities in the sidebar. I also linked this board in my communities sidebar. Great way to discover all movie/cinema related communities :)
Really interesting! Thank you for sharing!
Just trying to get some insurance money
OP sent me a message asking me if it was ok to post this. It’s an interesting concept.
