all of the senators are so old that I bet a lot of them don’t give a shit about long term strategy
democrats would have to win 20 seats currently held by Republicans as well as hold all their current seats. mathematically, this is possible, there are currently 22 Republican seats contested this election. current polling, however, shows the likely outcome is democrats get +3 seats.

they want an economic moat. otherwise there’s very little additional value over the open weight models which are catching up fast.
