I am the user in reference. Did I use another instance to down-vote, yes in this case. Why? because I felt I was backed into a corner. In hindsight, I should have contacted the mod admin or whomever, but this was not the first time they have done this to me, it happened also on memes @ lemmy world. I am sure others have come across their behavior on meme sites.

The complete story, which go $fsk yourself conveniently leaves out, is that he is part of a gang/group of users that go around meme sites, and other art related sites, and harass people who use AI. Firstly, some AI memes are hard to detect if AI is even involved. I can hardly tell at times, nor do I really care, but this anti-AI fascist group of users seem to police most memes and point a finger and cry “YOU ARE USING AI!!”, as if they alone can determine for us. Didn’t the Nazi’s do this sort of behavior when they banned/burned “questionable” books?

The real issue is they are using an outside tool, as noted below, to harass users. How do you know this? Well, look at the post, is go $fsk yourself or any of the other anti-AI posters there commenting on the meme’s content? No, they are there with their agenda…to harass and bully people who us AI. He is trying to cover it up and play the victim, as they have done before.

I apologize to the community for using the alts, it won’t happen again, but there is a much serious issue here. The fact that a user is using an outside tool on your community and others, and even so bold as to teach others, as noted below, how to use it to go after other users.

I meant posting AI memes to the community (Lemmy Shitpost.) Maybe something the “owner” needs to decide. Is that Striker? I don’t know how all the hierarchy works, but someone must come up with the rules.

A few of these anti-AI fascist that posted here today, have already harassed me on another meme community about using AI to the point I just left. I recognized them today here, the tag-team. I really like Lemmy Shitpost. I am sure I am not the only member this is happening to, as they seem to force their agenda. I would be nice if this was actually addressed…by clear cut AI accepted or not rules. Thanks.

Thank you. I think something to bring to the other admins would be the core issue here which hasn’t been addressed. Are AI memes allowed or disallowed on your sub? You should decide this and make it part of your rules on the sidebar.

These anti-AI fascist are using your gray area to come into the sub and harass/down-vote members. If there was a clear-cut rule on whether AI memes are accepted or not, then there is a possibility for recourse as it would be going against the subs rules. Right now, they are clearly using the lack thereof to enact their opinions and harassing punishments on members.

Yes, these anti AI tag team members are annoying. It is a sub trying to make people laugh and point out ironic situations. The world is dark enough. He is one of the tag-team members who calls out AI posts, yet here he is posting AI. Again, the irony is blatant.

I have been posting memes to this sub with high up-votes. There is a group of users who are going around to your sub and harassing/down-voting your users for using AI. The irony here, which is what I was trying to point out, they use AI memes themselves, just go through their posts. If I am being banned for using alts, then you should also look at the gang of users, gofsckyourself@lemmy.world being one of them, and how they tag team your subs/users. This issue didn’t start with using alts, it started with them harassing…and down-voting… about using AI, which to my knowledge, is not illegal on your sub, else most of your posters would be banned. This all reminds me of why I left reddit.

And may the admins look at your history of going around to all the meme subs and down-voting/harassing. I am not sure what your end goal is here, but it is clear you have an agenda.
