Talk to other parents. There’s a non-zero chance that your child is not the only one. Also, for children that young, a lot of the times such behaviour comes from negative home experiences - be it their own parents bullying them, or even just neglect (no corrections, guidance, etc), so you can’t always expect help from the kid’s parents. However, if you manage to get the involvement of other parent(s) then it becomes more serious, and hopefully will have the staff listen and act.

That’s sadly how conservative politics works. People tend to fear what they don’t know, and defunding education + excessive belief in own intelligence results in the use of fear, hatred, disgust, misinformation, and lack of awareness to stir up furor and influence people to vote against their own best interests
I wish I could be willfully ignorant, life would be so much simpler if I wasn’t aware of all of the clustertrucks, and wouldn’t be thinking further ahead than my next meal… But alas, suffering it is

The cashier’s getting paid the same. If they were like waitstaff that get paid by the customer, it’d be a shitty thing to do, but for folk that are hourly/waged, it’s still not nice, but not quite shitty territory, since you’re not messing with their income, just time (and as someone that’s worked customer support, I’d rather count pennies for 2 hours than deal with another irate “I’m angry because I can’t read” ahole)
