I was an idiot. Parents would call up and say, “Hey, would you like us to drop off our kid at your house so both kids can play?”. I would decline, thinking to myself, “Are you kidding? I already have my hands full with one kid, why would I offer you free babysitting?”

What is infecting the ultra-rich these days? I assume both Andreessen and Musk were at least passibly sane-seeming individuals before they fell face-first into unimaginable wealth. But rather than thinking, “Cool! Me, my family, all future generations of my family and everyone we know and love can now live comfortable lives and never have to worry or work again.” they get on world media and declare, “All you fuckers are out to get me, but I’m gonna get you first!”

What is causing this? Is it drugs? Is it the money? Why are so many ultra-rich going batshit?
