Loooong day. Just got home & showered. I drove home and don’t feel like I was concentrating at all. You know when you drive on familiar roads and wonder how on earth you got home? I’m that level of exhausted.
I’m having a sleep in tomorrow.
Fireworks are going OFF in my hood. It’s NYE all over again (Lunar New Year is tomorrow, so makes sense).
The wind is getting nastier. The hair dryer dried my towels in under one hour!
I encountered them a few years ago at Fairhaven beach thinking they were harmless (but annoying) sand flies. I was covered in bites all over my body, so horrible. Have not gone back to that beach since!
I could not be arsed making dinner but I’m glad I did, even if it’s a late one. There’s nothing more comforting after a shitty day than a home cooked meal. Steak cooked to perfection 👌

Love when someone else’s leave becomes your problem. A couple years back my old boss went galivanting around Europe for 2 months and most of her work fell onto me, it was hell.
