It’s hard right? All the ones we were raised with like mrn and even the more enjoyable corruption/portmanteaus like fuck-t*** just punch down. Any slur or bad word has its nuances and pros/cons (almost exclusively cons with words originating as slurs) but the ones to do with intellectual disability are particularly hard because they were EVERYWHERE. And the reason for that is that the intellectually disabled can’t as easily advocate for themselves as for example the Roma, or the gay/mlm community. I tend to think contrived insults that imply your subject of derision is responsible for their own undoing work best. Like asshat, or fuckstick, ignorant motherfucker, sour cunt, livid piece of shit, etc etc. Either these are conditions of personability that a person could change about themselves (if we want to go that far “sour cunt” is sexed and possibly implies a hygeine problem) or they invoke a situation that took some doing to get into, like making a hat out of some ass and wearing that.

    Thanks for hearing me out.
