You’d think with all the cereals we’re producing, it’d be ubiquitous, but all the stuff at the grocery store was either Kelloggs, Kraft, or General Mills.
I think Shreddies are made in Canada, but owned by Post?

There seemsto be a few more options out west than here in QC.
I already get granola from a small local place which is great, but surely there’s a Canadian version of corn flakes or rice krispies or whatnot somewhere.

I’m also open to just making my own.

    I’m buying Jordan’s now, made in the UK but owned by Galen Weston and his fam…so profit at least flows back😒 . Buying Canadian made by a Canadian company shouldn’t be this hard but hey, integrated economies with your best ally does that…then leaves us here. Hope someone steps in.

      This English company, Associated British Foods, gets those profits. Which then [allegedly] go directly to fund dehumanizing efforts including genocide and starvation of captive populations. They’ve been directly investigated for everything from tax evasion and fraud to illegal labour practices.

      Associated British Foods has been slammed as the least ethical food and drink company in a report by charity Oxfam.

      The charity’s ‘Behind the Brands’ campaign, which claims that a ‘veil of secrecy is hiding the human cost in top food and drink company supply chains’, gave ABF a score of just 19%. Kellogg’s and General Mills were joint second worst, on 23%, while Nestlé came top with 54%.

          I know it’s the Weston Family that own it ultimately. The internet tells me that it’s all funneled to ABF, not the other way round. Loblaws Canada>Galen Weston Canada>ABF UK>Wittington UK>Garfield Weston Foundation(deceased) UK

            Whittington is 2 seperate holding companies, one in Canada and one in the UK. The Canadian one ultimately owns Loblaws and family…the one in the UK controls ABF and its subsidiaries. Money flows from both to the Weston family, and my original point then was that poor beaten down Galen would benefit.

              Weston Family, paupers that they are 😅, only own 20% of the UK Wittingtons.

              But I see my mistake in assuming that both Wittingtons had stake in ABF.

              I’m deleting my earlier comment about them being owned by jerks because it’s clear they’re owned by good Christians like Emu-Krasnov.
