Can’t agree there, the government of Israel has gotten along really well with the government of Saudi Arabia for example. If you murder journalists and protesters and otherwise repress dissent they will try to work with you.
Please don’t conflate the elite Saudis with the rest of the Arabic speaking world. When money and power are concerned, the Israeli government will placate. When it comes to average arab people, they will persecute and subjugate.
The kleptocratic ruling classes of many Arab countries have happily aligned with Israel, openly or covertly, in opposing legitimate Arab democracy. And that’s not limited to the Saudis and the Gulfies. Look at Sisi and at the king of Morocco for two other prominent examples.
And this means that Zionists will treat ordinary Arabic people with respect, dignity and humanity - or are you still conflating the goddamn elites with ordinary Arabic people again?
Like seriously, Arabic people are second class citizens in Israel - and we’re not even talking about the beta Israelites.
I’m sure the Epstein class Arabs are well taken care of when approached by Israeli elites, this has already been established by the previous commenter - but it’s still not an argument against what I said.
It’d be a tidy summation if it were true, but its not historically accurate. Jewish people got along just fine in Muslim lands until zionism resurged. There has been 100 years of violence, since zionism-- which is racism.
Indeed, over thousands of years there have been times of peace.
However, you must ignore “Zionism resurged” and “Islamic State resurged”, which is my point. That “resurgence” is the problem, you see… that resurgence that will always be waiting in their most Holy Tanakh and Koran.
Christians have the same issue, it doesn’t take much for a resurgence of fundamentalists. Because these holy books are fundamentally murderous.
Mainly in the Austro-Hungarian empire, at a time when the government there was relaxing the long-standing policy of discrimination against Jews, enabling them to assimilate. The Zionist leaders were panicked by the possibility that assimilation might erase Jewish identity, and by the alternative possibility that a reactionary backlash against equal rights might lead to further persecution. The latter is what ended up happening.
The diagnosis of the risk was correct. The problem was with two linked features of the proposed cure: ethnonationalism and colonialism.
And yeah, for centuries, Islam treated its second-class citizens less badly than the Christians did. That didn’t make Islam a human-rights paradise, but consistent discrimination was more bearable than the Christian kingdoms’ pendulum swings between tolerance and pogroms.
All three have a lot to answer for over the years. I could do without any of them, but I think humans would find some other bullshit excuses and narratives around an invisible friend to justify subjugating other countries and subjugating others within their own country…
Humans will always find some other bullshit excuse and narrative… but only the religious get tax-free status over and above any non-profit.
We certainly shouldn’t be passing their tax burdens onto everybody else, for any religion. They are all unfathomably wealthy already, no need to add to their gigantic pile of gold.
Well Zionists hate all Arabic people, so…

Read what I actually said please.
Ha, Zionists hate everybody. They are the Chosen People.
And Islam hates everybody, they are God’s select. So there’s a wee bit of conflict there. A thousand years of this clown show.

I wonder where that aspect of Zionism originated…
I hate to say it, but one of the big three is not like the others.

They are all infested with a smug superiority and have proven willing and able to murder all who won’t submit to their rule.
They are dissimilar in some ways, but the most important thing is that they are all murderous and all have scriptural support to be murderous.
But yes, one of the big three is not like the others. For example, there are no PRIDE parades in any Islamic state.
