TL;DR: We’re launching a new edition called “GNOME OS Preview”, which is built from the latest stable GNOME release. This means that GNOME OS is no longer just a nightly OS for GNOME developers and testers!

So KDE Neon, but for Gnome?
Apparently, that seems to be the gist.
It’s always made sense to have a reference implementation.
The main change seems to be a preview version now, whereas, previously, it was only a nightly
Yeah, that was my takeaway too. This is the first I’ve heard of GNOME OS, but I’m glad that they’re making it daily drive-able for people that want it. I’ve rolled KDE Neon for a couple of years on my main machine, it’s good that GNOME folks have a similar option now.
