To add to this, whatever “website” the OP is on has no ideology. Different instances of Lemmy do moderate in different manners, so depending on the “website”/instance he visits, the content available and moderation may skew towards a specific ideology. For example, I don’t go to the news community on lemmy.ml anymore, because I got tired of the pro-Russia stance there.
So if the OP ran their own instance where race hate and misogyny were acceptable, that would fit their definition. But good luck getting anyone to federate with them.
The problem is that their definition of “left” lines up pretty well with people who are willing to cooperate with others that are different from themselves — which is the basis for any non-autocratic community.
Why is everybody assuming OP’s definition of ‘leftist’ and inserting whatever it is they most want to attack? Just take a look at yourselves. OP needs to be more precise about what they mean. Or they might be rage baiting.
No assumptions here, in a now removed thread they literally told me that women being oppressed was “natural selection”, no joke. Look at their mod log if you want to double check, it’s rough. They definitely could be rage baiting, but the fact that they posted this after getting absolutely dumped on definitely looks like they’re looking for a safe space.

This “whatever they want to attack” has been very clearly one item: misogyny, and if you took the time to read these “attacks,” you’d pretty quickly learn that they’re based on something that just happened. In fact, if you look at OP’s comment history, you’ll find a ton of removed comments with very negative votes, and looking a bit deeper than that, you’ll find even more misogynistic posts that are still up.
