My Kiwiberry plant lost all of its leaves mid-way through March. Last week, it suddenly decided to grow a heap of new leaves to replace the lost ones.
I live in Queensland so it might be getting confused with all the wild weather we have been getting.
Corn has not fared well, but the carrots look okay for now.
Grasshoppers are still the bane of my existence.
And I managed to get an almost ripe orange and mandarin drop from my fruit trees. Tasted pretty good either way.
Got the Kiwiberry plant a couple years ago from a local country market (Jimboomba in SEQ). Must be rare, as when I was talking to the lady about something else, she pulls out the plant from her van and asked if I wanted to buy it. It was the only one she had.

May I ask where you are to get kiwiberries? I keep asking nurseries but half haven’t even heard of them.
