That came first which is weird
That came first which is weird
I got the headache first but maybe it was the heat
You can dance
You can dance
Everybody look at your pants
Hmm… I had eaten a tiny bit but nothing substantial. Thanks, it’s a relief to know that it could just be that.
Does it also give you a headache?
Has anyone else ever become nauseous and/or thrown up after paracetamol?
I’m talking only two 500mg Panamax at 11am and two more tablets at 4pm, so pretty sure I didn’t take too much or too close together. It was the second dose that caused problems.
I don’t see any recalls on the tablets but am not taking any more. Still feeling nauseous from yesterday.
The machine is ok, it’s specifically this pair of jeans
Ah I don’t have any alcomahol
And it’s spenny
I could redye them as I have in the past but I don’t want to deal with it running
Good call, Aldi might have some when I can get there
That’s a good idea, maybe if I turn them inside out before sunning that would preserve the colour
Me too. I don’t mind a little fading but they were already a bit faded so I don’t want too pale
I got some op shop jeans that looked good, washed them, and now they smell like sewage. Washed them three times and even used cleaning vinegar but still stinky.
I could use hot water or Napisan but am already concerned about fading them with multiple washes.
It’s possibly the dye but I don’t know if I want to wear something that doesn’t smell clean and fresh.
I wondered if you could reheat nachos the next day… surprisingly the answer is yes? Microwaving could make them soggy but the internet says ovens or air fryers do well
I didn’t finish hauling down the pantry donations a month ago because I was too exhausted… wheeled the last lot down. I might not have energy and money to do that again for a bit.
Sketchy randoms came cutting through my block right after I left it and there were already a couple alcohol cans littered on the path before that… eugh.
Moobeans is on the bed curled up in a croissant, I hope she starts feeling better quickly.
It was so funny when the vets came. She actually came over to them in curiosity and rubbed her cheek on their stuff. Social girl. She wasn’t as pleased when having her blood pressure taken, I had to steadily feed her distraction treats to get her to tolerate it.
I’m now able to edit again so I don’t know what that was
Fretting.
Potential over sharing, might delete or heavily edit later.
The only treats I currently know Melbcat can have and likes (as well as being affordable-ish and not a hassle to get) have sugar and salt.
I started her on blood pressure medication last night and will get her on stuff to help protect her kidneys when that medication comes in next week, but these can’t be good for her. I might look around again for some other options rather than restrict or deny her treats.
I’m worried about her high protein dry food as well. I haven’t found many foods she’s not allergic to and the high protein grain free stuff is the only thing that works, but it is going to be harder on her body and hasten her kidney disease. Prescription foods all contain stuff she can’t eat.
I’ve ordered in another bag of her current biscuits but am wishing I could find something else in the dry that was lower in protein (and she would still happily eat).
There is the option of finding a lower quality kibble that would contain less meat, but even if I found one that didn’t contain chicken (near impossible) it would still probably contain grain fillers like corn that would aggravate her IBD.
Maybe I could find biscuits with potatoes as a filler and hopefully with a lower amount of meat. She adores potatoes.
I may also be creating fresh hell for myself and putting myself in danger ie. bringing a long term nightmare neighbour down on my head again by reporting some incorrectly planted invasive trees.
However it probably needs to be reported. What looks like some kind of laurel is planted with the trunk a literal inch from the wall/foundation of my house, and a root is now sending out suckers to expand and grow a new tree. (Inside my property line.) I started ripping the suckers off to stop it before realising I should document… but I took a pic of the remaining one and will keep taking photos as needed I guess.
The other tree has the trunk only a foot away from the foundation and is a plane tree, meaning strong invasive roots that can cause concrete to buckle.
For years I’ve been dealing with the nuisance of the branches overhanging and dropping leaves in my yard and gutters (and the roots sucking my soil dry) because the person who planted them lives for conflict, engages in harassment campaigns that enters stalking territory, and gets physically violent. I’m talking actual bashings and repeatedly breaching ivos territory.
This means that it isn’t safe or wise to go through the normal channels that require engaging with the person or trimming overhang.
But yeah, if there’s a risk that the trees might actually damage the structure of the place I’m living in I obviously don’t want that to happen. And since the owner of the trees may be liable for any property damage caused I want it on record that I am not the owner and am not responsible.
The council is a bit iffy on if they can help but have at least asked for photos. I’ve also reported to housing because they take property damage seriously and might be more likely to act.
I risk waking a sleeping tiger tbh. It’s a fucked position to be in. But at least if there are any issues with property damage down the track there can be a paper trail that makes it harder to blame me and demand I pay. And hopefully some measures in place might get some action if the person becomes aggressive again.
There are quieter solutions to unwanted trees I know. But I am not going to risk being taken to court or fined for doing something. It’s not a good idea.
I wonder if the lack of a coating on Panamax means it releases faster and is harder on the stomach.
Thanks, you too. I’m rehydrating and having some crackers.
