    And we saw the results of that with Republicans where any flaw or mistake is ignored…

    Are republican voters getting what they want out of that arrangement? Or is their blind loyalty being exploited?

    Now, everyone seems to understand how that is bad…

    So why do people think both parties doing that would be better?

    If it’s just about winning elections, why not also run a candidate that agrees with the base, then ask for people to vote for the lesser evil if it’s still not what voters want?

    Why start with someone far to the right of the Dem voters base?

    Why meet fascists halfway? When has that ever worked out?

      the “lesser evil” argument hits an absurd new low when both lesser evils options are kind-and-gentle-genocide or mask-off-genocide; yet you have people who THOROUGHLY believe that it’s practical choice and are so out of touch that the denigrate people for not cooperating in the genocide.
