    TLDW: Someone supposedly sold a prototype steam deck on eBay. The buttons are a bit different than what we have. It is NOT a prototype for an SD2, unfortunately

      I doubt that it is a prototype, but simply a prototype-style case. Considering all the fake hardware being sold on eBay.

        I read one line of a news article that talked about the buttons being flat on the back, instead of the raised version we ended up with.

        Signs point towards not being a case unless it’s on there reeeeally right tight
