On the other hand, it’s worth understanding the differences between “progressivism” and “liberalism”.
Most “liberals” don’t really understand what “liberalism” is. Most of them are actually “progressives” and just don’t realize it.
Then it’s worth noting the differences between “progressivism” and the absolute looneytoons ideas that “leftists” espouse. I am not okay with the hardcore socialism that they push, or for the absolute civil war that it will require to enact those ideas.

Liberals treating fascists with kid gloves and giving their absurdities an air of legitimacy is literally how we got here. You can’t give fascist ideas the same weight as real, serious arguments, pretending fascists are arguing in good faith and then wonder why idiots think “Hmm, but both sides have good points,” but that’s largely what liberals have been doing my entire god damned life.
“bipartisanship” and “meeting in the middle” was always an absurd idea. And liberals still dont understand why.
Also liberals: It’s terrible that they want to kill the disabled and turn them into biofuel but at least its environmentally friendly.
