Does anyone have knowledge of Razorock’s DE line up? As far as I understand it, the heads and handles are interchangeable and other than one being an open comb, I don’t know the meaningful difference between their 10+ heads.
I’d say the most popular one is the Game Changer series. Do you have a razor that you like right now? Do you think you’d prefer something milder, more aggressive, or the same?
Blade gap is only part of the equation, so if it turns out to be 0.68mm, for example, it’s still going to be quite different than a Game Changer .68. I’ve measured blade gap before and feeler gauges are the way to go if you’re curious.
Have you seen the comparison chart from Razorock? Mild and aggressive are subjective terms, but generally more aggressive razors have more blade feel and need more attentiveness while shaving.

I have a Merkur Futur clone that I use on the 5 setting. I should probably measure the blade gap. I’ll have to find myself some calipers.
Is 5 a middle setting?

Are they better than an engineer’s caliper?

Yeah I saw this, even in each category there are over 5 different razors.
