You here can much often hear about УПА and Правий Сектор.
Ideology of УПА is atrocious, but i should give the respect for fighting both Nazis and Tankies.
Wolyn massacre is also a really bad incident that shouldnt have happened. But to be fair, forceful assimilation, violance, hate, and even concentration camps for ukrainians in wolyn at the time are obviously going to spark a rage in ultranationalists, but at the same time doesnt justify massacre.
Why write it in Cyrillic if majority of people can’t read it, and even those that know Cyrillic struggle to read it effortlessly. You could just say UPA and Right Sector, both are recognized English translations that have a Wikipedia page. No meaning is lost by translating them from Ukrainian to English.
I don’t know how they are known in English speaking world, sorry!
Also I think majority of people not interested in any of that, so we probably did not lose much in this case.
