I had some memory foam earbud tips from Comply for my IEMs but I found that they would become too squishy or fall off the casing too easily. Which was a shame because brand new they feel amazing.

What are some of your favorite tips for IEMs? Looking to purchase some higher quality cushions.

I’m surprised y’all can replace the tips at all. I have 2 IEMs (Westone and another much cheaper purchase) and they have completely different attachment sites. Am I missing something?

Not sure what’s so confusing. When buying replacement tips, you just have to include the IEM model to make sure they’re compatible. Comply has many tip sizes, including Westone.

Tbh, I’ve settled into just buying Comply tips, or knockoffs, and replacing them.

9/10 times, no matter what I buy, they end up being grungy after a few months anyway. It isn’t a lot but it’s enough that I look at them and no longer want them in my ears. You can’t completely eliminate oils and wax traces, so if you want foam tips they have a short life span. It’s just the nature of the beast if you don’t like the silicone or rubber tips.

Now, spinfits hold up well, and are almost as comfortable as foam tips. Plus, they clean up easily, so there’s that

Yeah I like Comply a lot too but considering how infrequently I use my IEMs and they still degrade pretty quickly I’m looking for another brand. Thanks for the spinfit suggestion. I’ll have to check it out

Oooo thank you, interesting. I will check these out! The normal ones fit, but I do have to adjust them a lot when I eat and yawn a lot.

Are there really any other options outside of custom molds? I’ve had similar challenges with my Comply tips. They are pretty short lived in my experience, even with frequent gentle cleaning. But man are they good at first!
