Especially China is very interested in this for obvious reasons. Social media is getting swamped again with AI slop and bots en masse if the recent Lemmy posts are any indicator. Throw away your mobile phone. Barring that, delete all social media you participate in for more than 10 minutes a day. It does not “connect” you with anyone, it destroys you!

I hear that all the time. Does your work DEMAND of you to doom scroll TikTok while on the shitter? Or just that you are reachable via phone and/or text? If it’s the latter a Nokia phone does the job and does it better too.
